How are you ringing in the New Year tonight?
In traditional Portuguese fashion:
We will write down all our failures, disappointments and miseries on slips of paper and then stuff them into a baby pig, or leitão, which is cooked in a pit in the ground, and then fed to the children at the table. This is known as the "Sins of the Fathers" meal. Adults enjoy a meal of roasted cod, cabbage and potatoes. Right before midnight the children are beaten and sent to bed. The adults, now relieved of their sins, are free to ring in the New Year by drinking port, and smearing themselves in olive oil and wrestling "the devil", played by the ugliest wife at the party.

If you're reincarnated, what do you think you'll come back as?

I'll be coming back as a honey badger who started life as someone's pet, but escaped after attacking his owner in the crotch and then chewing the owner's hand off to release the leash. After a long and arduous journey, I finally make it back to the wild, where I feed mostly on deer, raccoons and lost pets, while taking down the occasional hiker.
I live a long and happy life and die of blood loss from losing a leg to a bear trap at the age of 23.
I then come back as a venture capitalist.
